For $600 currently, though refurbished, it’s a very good deal:

  • 1080P IPS display which you won’t find in a $600 laptop
  • GT 745M – low/medium midrange gaming performance
  • 8GB DDR3 RAM
  • I7-4500U which is a more energy efficient I5 actually
  • 1TB HDD
  • 90 days warranty

You can’t find such a combination currently for $600 – if you are looking for a moderate gaming performance with a good 1080p IPS display, this is an excellent choice for you.

hey junky! great website 🙂 How and why is the i7-4500U more efficient than the i5-4200U? I thought it would heat less. I’m planning to get the new acer v7-582 (the 15 inches version) with 850m when it comes out but i’d rather take the i5 version if it heats less

Owell, I can wait. 🙂

Does this perform the same as the Shark 2? So I could play Bf4 Dota 2 and Skyrim/Elder scrolls online on high settings?
